What To Add To Your Spring Wardrobe
Going into a new season, one of the top questions that’s on your mind is - "What am I going to wear?"
Do you need to pack away things, buy all new pieces, or can you work with what you have and add in some new pieces?
You could pack away all of your winter clothes, but then you’re getting rid of clothes that you could still be wearing.
You could buy all new pieces, but then you’d be spending money on pieces with the intention of only wearing them in one season and overlooking all of the clothes you already have.
When you don’t need to pack away anything, can still wear your clothes, add in new pieces and combine both sets of clothing to create even more outfits.
With the three-step process, I walked you through in this eBook; you have a clear idea of the different styles that fit with your lifestyle so you can avoid spending and then be struggling to wear your clothes.
With the basic pieces you already have in your wardrobe, now is the time to start building upon this selection and adding in styles that’ll cater to spring.
Filling In The Gaps
When you have clothes in your closet, you always have options. But understanding how to mix and match your pieces is what’ll allow you to spend less, focus on what you need and create more outfits around the clothes you have.
You probably already have sweaters and cardigans, jackets, tees, jeans to simple tanks that you can transition into the spring - so you’re already halfway there.
The next thing you need to do is assess your spring clothes from last season and decide what you’re lacking, need to get rid of, or need to update so you can then start shopping to fill in the gaps.
Taking this approach will save you a ton of money and allow you to be more strategic with how you’re spending. You’re spending money to get a lot wear out of your clothes, not spending to wear one time and then struggling to wear again.
Assess your needs first before spending.
If this is an area that you’re struggling with, refer back to this three-step process. Use this process anytime you’re struggling on what to add to your wardrobe.
