Spring Work Outfits

Being stylish in the office isn’t hard to achieve with a mix of the right wardrobe pieces. While your 9 to 5 isn’t the place to focus on being too trendy and experimenting with the latest trends, you can pull off a stylish look and still be on-trend.

In spring, the warm weather is here, and we can finally welcome in the lighter to pastel shades to open-toed sandals and spring dresses.  Outside of a reasonable hemline, fabric, and neckline; you can pretty much work any style into your wardrobe.  Even those sleeveless tops and dresses you want to wear; you can always add an outer layer to make them more appropriate for a day at work.

Welcoming in a new season means you need to have a wardrobe plan in place to avoid constant shopping and have a mix of pieces that you can easily pair with one another to make creating new outfits around the same pieces easy.  With the right set of pieces, you can make this happen without having to spend a lot of money.

Most of the time you have a lot of these pieces in your wardrobe, but overlook them, forget you have them or struggle with how to wear them.  By focusing on adding in your basics, it’ll be much easier for you to create outfits around everything in your closet.

I’ve mapped out a wardrobe plan of 24 pieces - clothes, shoes, and accessories with over 100 different outfits surrounding these items in Building A Wardrobe: Spring Basics eBook.  You’ll be able to focus on the essentials that you can wear in and out of the office and transition the same pieces through different events and create new outfits around them.

Spend less money and be able to create more outfits.
