What To Wear: Spring Outfits
With the arrival of spring, it’s time to give our wardrobes a little refresher. You don’t need to invest in an entirely new wardrobe but adding in new pieces for the season is a must. A few weeks ago I spent a few hours browsing through the mall just to see what the stores had in stock, the styles to the spring colors so when I began creating my Building A Wardrobe: Spring Basics eBook it included on trend pieces, colors and styles.
I was definitely inspired, bought a few pieces for my spring wardrobe and also had my Mom buy a few pieces as well (she’s in the process of rebuilding her entire wardrobe and yours truly is her personal shopper and stylist).
This season, I’m seeing splashes of blues and pinks everywhere -- and in almost every single store I went in. These pastel shades are obvious colors that you typically see each season but these two colors in particular were everywhere from clothes, accessories to shoes so it was a no brainer.
Building a wardrobe or even if you’re adding in a few pieces doesn’t have to mean you need to go all out and spend a ton of money, there will be items you’ll spend more on which is your personal preference. I tend to spend more on shoes (self-proclaimed shoe addict, I have a room in my house just for my shoes), bags on occasion and outerwear. However, shopping with a strategy and knowing exactly what you need will help you avoid those impulse purchases or buying pieces to never wear them.
Building A Wardrobe: Spring Basics eBook is your wardrobe plan for the season, it includes 24 different pieces - clothes, shoes and accessories, their different styles, 100 outfit ideas surrounding them with access to a private online shopping guide so you can shop the 100 outfits.
