How To Prep Your Wardrobe For The New Year

With 2019 a few days away, now is the perfect time for relaxation, reflecting and gearing up for the new year.

I receive countless emails from you ladies, and appreciate them all - and your support. One of the top questions I receive is how to dress and still look great, no matter your age. As I always like to say, your age has no factor in being able to look and feel good. That is a must, at any age. Throughout this post, I am going to help you prepare your wardrobe for the new year. It’s never too late to change it up and be in love with your style.

Age is only a number. Not the deciding factor in your appearance.

This blog post will most likely be my last post of the year. I plan on taking the rest of the year off to spend time relaxing and enjoying my loved ones. 2019 will bring new blog posts and eBooks outside of my wardrobe building eBooks.

I hope you all have a lovely holiday season and I’ll see you in the new year!

Prepping Your Wardrobe For 2019

Get Organized.

It will be challenging to understand what to add to your wardrobe if your closet lacks organization. Having your clothes “thrown” here and there only creates a headache for you - getting dressed and not knowing where anything is will leave you grabbing for the same outfits.

Update Your Basics.

Your wardrobe basics are the key players in your wardrobe. These are the pieces you will find yourself wearing the most. Why? Because you can wear them everything. With your basics, they come in all styles, prints, and colors which allows you to personalize and customize your wardrobe to meet your needs.

These year-round pieces make it easy to transition through different seasons and update your outfits with any color or print that you like.

With the three-step Q&A included in this eBook (here), you’ll be able to narrow down exactly what to add to your wardrobe.

You can spend less money on clothes and stop wearing the same outfits with your wardrobe basics. This eBook (here) helps you build your wardrobe with the essential pieces - clothes, shoes, and accessories.

While you can build a solid wardrobe with your basics alone, I’m sure you like to add in seasonal staples as we transition through different seasons. But, a new season doesn’t mean a new wardrobe.

Using your wardrobe basics, you can now begin filling in the gaps of your wardrobe with your seasonal staples.

Winter Seasonal Staples.

Although these are seasonal staples, you can wear them each season vs. investing in an entirely new wardrobe. Your seasonal staples can easily be mixed and matched with your wardrobe basics allowing you to create different outfits around the same pieces.

There are four winter wardrobe capsule eBooks available covering different styles and different needs.

When adding pieces to your wardrobe, keep in mind your lifestyle needs and what you have planned for the winter season. Will you be doing a lot of holiday traveling and in need of casual pieces? Do you need stylish outfits that will carry you in and out of the office? To, wanting to know how to get away with wearing leggings and still looking good.

You can also combine more than one winter capsule eBook and be able to mix and match the different pieces included.

Customize Your Wardrobe.

While this step is optional, I’m sure there will be a time when you come across something in the store or online that you love and want but have no clue on how to wear it. With the basics laid out in the winter capsule eBooks, you have over 100 different ways you can wear it. No matter the color or print. Those statement pieces you have been eyeing but don’t know how to wear, so it doesn’t feel so over the top, you’ll have all the pieces and different ways to dress in a more toned down way.
