Winter Date Night Outfit Ideas
When you’re building a wardrobe focusing on pieces that you can easily mix and match with all of the items in your closet, that sometimes, can leave out a few pieces - those special occasion pieces. Dressier items that can pair with your wardrobe basics and/or winter essentials that you may not wear as often or only on those special occasions; such as, date night.
While you can easily style these items with many of your clothes and wear them in a more casual way; it can be a little tricky when trying to decide what to buy when you’re sticking to a capsule style wardrobe.
A functional wardrobe, is a wardrobe that’ll have you outfit-ready for any occasion. So, yes, in addition to your wardrobe basics and winter pieces; you should also add in a few dressier items for those “just in case” events and occasions.
Better safe than sorry, right?
Referring back to Maximizing Your Wardrobe: The Basics eBook; this eBook teaches you how to use your wardrobe basics to create outfits around every item in your wardrobe, those items you struggle to style or restyle to those pieces you buy for “special occasions.” In my opinion, there is no such thing as a one-time wear when you know how to use your wardrobe basics to create different outfits around the same pieces. This eBook will show you how to coordinate your looks and how to use your basics to dress down these dressier pieces so they’re more practical for everyday wear.
From the 24 wardrobe basics laid out in Building A Wardrobe: The Basics eBook, below are 4 different date night outfit ideas from the 140 outfits swapping out a basic top for one of these special occasion tops plus some added jewelry from my post: Jewelry That Can Go With Anything.
