How To Style Camo Print Over 40

Being a certain age doesn’t limit what you can and can not wear.  While you can pull off pretty much any style you’re comfortable with, how you style and complete your look with different garments, accessories and shoes is the key to feeling more confident in your style.

Prints have the tendency to intimidate you because they’re bold and standout.  For someone with a more laid-black and neutral toned style, prints may be a little outside of your comfort zone.

But as you know, with fashion there is always a way! There is always a way to style an item so that it caters to your personal style.

If a bold and colorful print is too much for you, you can always go with a neutral print instead.. Options!

There are three different ways you can add prints to your outfit:

(1.) A garment

(2.) Shoe

(3.) Accessory

If you’re just warming up to prints, I would recommend starting with a neutral print.  Like your neutral solid garments, your prints are a combination of neutrals and can easily pair with everything in your wardrobe.  You’ll be able to style these neutral prints over and over again allowing you to feel more comfortable and confident styling prints.

Even though it’s a print, it’s not as bold and stand out because of the neutral colors.  And you won’t have to worry about buying it and then struggling to wear it again because you’ll be able to style it with everything in your closet.

Camo print is a favorite of mine, it gives you an edgy and masculine feel but can also be styled to be more feminine and girly - remember, you always have options!  Camo print is a year-round print that you can wear in and out of the office, shocker, right?

It’s a great way to add an unexpected yet chic touch to any outfit and an easy and quick way to add a more casual element to your look.

If you’re thinking, how can I pull this print off at my age and get away with it?

Why can’t you? Your age doesn’t factor into what print you can and can not wear - you most certainly can incorporate this print into your wardrobe and be stylish.
