For those that are thinking, how can I wear this or restyle it? Because for me, it’s all about learning how to maximize your wardrobe and labels do not exist in my books! Those pieces you’re confining to “dressy” or “casual” pieces only, there are ways around that. How else can you expect to make the most out of what you’re spending?!
Throughout The Daileigh Slay eBook, over 150 pages of different styling tricks to help you break down these labels, build out your outfits and do better at creating outfits with the items you already have within your wardrobe. You can order your copy: here.
While this outfit is made of dressier materials, that doesn’t mean you can only wear it when you’re looking to be dressed up.
Three ways I would style this outfit:
One | As pictured, I would work this for a black tie event, crop top and all – it doesn’t bare too much skin it’s sexy, chic and appropriate. Pulling off crop tops require balance, for the simple fact that this look only shows a peek of skin, makes it wearable for a black tie event – you know I’m not about following rules, I’m all about creating my own!
Two | I’d wear them as separates for a night out with my girls or date night, I’d style them with a basic top, stiletto heels and allow my accessories and add-on’s to dress it up.
Three | Rock these pants for a day of errands with a v-neck basic knotted tee, a pair of flops and a hat.
There is ALWAYS a way to dress up a garment or dress it down. With any outfit or item you have within your wardrobe, you have multiple outfits. There are endless outfit options when you know the different styling tricks and techniques to pulling it off.
